Training and competing with animals is a high challenge to our skills at communication, but it is also very much a relationships skill set that is involved.

With EFT, we can correct all manner of problems that arise and which get in the way of the close, intuitive and co-operative relationship we need when we want to train our companion animals, and even more so, if we want to compete with them.

It is hard when our animals are sick or suffering. We can often feel helpless on top of all the other feelings of sadness, anger and fear and stress.

When we do EFT, we do something amazing, and something very real that helps deeply - even if it doesn't cure the illness, it changes the "spirit of the situation" and that makes all the difference both to the animal, as well as the owner.

Kirsten Ellis writes: I had an interesting foray into animal EFT the other day. Another practitioner in South Africa had asked on her Facebook page if anyone could help her with her cat who has been ill. I decided to put my hand up, thinking a. experience with another Energy healer would be good, and b. I’m a big cat person and, well they speak to me!

A visitor asks: "I love EFT and use it for myself all the time. I would like to tap EFT on my dog as well as doing proxy tapping. Can you tell me what the tapping points on a dog should be?"

Marie writes: I would like to share this simple story and hopefully encourage everyone who uses EFT to try it with animals, birds and wildlife especially the times we can feel helpless and that’s where EFT can step in. A few weeks before Christmas we had been watching the progress of two nesting doves who hadn’t taken flight yet and were preparing for their first flight from our fig tree (which was then with thick leafy cover). They managed their first flight successfully even with our three dogs with keen eyes on them!
